Russian troops keep Ukrainian forces at safe distance from Dnieper crossings — top brass

It is reported that over 20 Ukrainian service people, two tanks, two self-propelled artillery mounts and three armored combat vehicles hit mines

MOSCOW, November 11. /TASS/. Russian troops are keeping Ukrainian forces suppressed 30 to 40 kilometers away from Dnieper crossing sites, Spokesman for Russia’s Defense Ministry Lieutenant-General Igor Konashenkov reported on Friday.

"Russian troops have used artillery, aviation and mines to keep Ukrainian forces 30 to 40 kilometers away from Dnieper crossings," Konashenkov said at a briefing.

The spokesman for Russia’s top brass also said that three US-made M777 howitzers, two infantry fighting vehicles and three Ukrainian pickups had been destroyed with the use of Lancet kamikaze drones and fire from multiple launch rocket systems over the past day. "In addition, over 20 Ukrainian service people, two tanks, two self-propelled artillery mounts and three armored combat vehicles hit mines," Konashenkov added.
