Talks on Ukraine are possible, says Russian ambassador to UK

According to Andrey Kelin, Russia is ready to find a solution to resolve the crisis

NEW YORK, October 26. /TASS/. Russia believes that negotiations on Ukraine are possible, despite Kiev’s contrary statements, and is ready to find a solution to resolve the crisis, Russian Ambassador in London Andrey Kelin said in an interview with CNN, broadcast on Wednesday.

"My understanding is that it (the conflict - TASS) should be finished. Of course, it should be finished. But otherwise, it will be a catastrophe on the place, which is now called Ukraine," he said.

"At the moment, [Ukrainian] President [Vladimir] Zelensky illegally has made negotiations impossible because it is his own decision that no talks at all. We’re saying that negotiations are possible and we will be prepared at any time to find a right solution for the crisis," the diplomat added.
