BANGKOK, March 29. /TASS/. The number of fatalities in the Myanmar earthquake has risen to 1,644 with over 3,400 people injured, Xinhua reported citing the press service of the country’s Administration Council.

According to its data, 139 individuals are missing.

A powerful earthquake with a magnitude of 8.2 struck Myanmar on March 28. The tremors were also felt in China, Thailand, and Vietnam.
