NEW YORK, March 27. /TASS/. The US Coast Guard announced that its active search for the persons missing after the bridge collapse in Baltimore has now become a recovery mission, the ABC News television reported.

The Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore collapsed on March 25 after it was hit by the Dali freighter travelling under the flag of Singapore. Video footage of the collapse disseminated on social media. After the impact, the bridge spans started to crumble, and the several cars that were on them fell into the water. Maryland Governor Wes Moore declared a state of emergency over the incident.
