Federal office catches fire following shelling

KURSK, April 23. /TASS/. A checkpoint on the Russian-Ukrainian border in the Glushkovsky district of the Kursk Region was shelled by mortars from the Ukrainian side on Saturday, the region’s Governor Roman Starovoyt wrote on his Telegram channel.

"Today, the mortars from the Ukrainian side shelled again a border checkpoint in the Glushkovsky district of the Kursk Region. Our border guards and servicemen control the situation. There are no wounded or killed," he wrote.

According to him, an office of the Russian Federal Service for the Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance caught fire in the shelling.

The checkpoint in the Tyotkino settlement in the Glushkovsky district was shelled by Ukraine on February 24 and March 29. There were no casualties or destruction.
