MOSCOW, October 27. /TASS/. Russia and Equatorial Guinea have a substantial potential to increase mutual supplies of marketable products and implement joint investment projects, Russian President Vladimir Putin said at a meeting with the Central African country’s leader, Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo.
"I’d also like to note that our countries have a considerable potential both toward the growth of mutual supplies of marketable goods and the implementation of promising investment projects, mostly in energy and mining," the Russian head of state said.
The field of trade and economic cooperation between the two countries is "somewhat lagging," Putin noted. "A certain decline has even been reported. We expect that establishing an intergovernmental commission could improve the situation," the Russian president added.
