Seligdar to launch processing plant at Khvoynoye gold deposit in Yakutia in July

Seligdar President Alexander Khrushch emphasized that the plant is in an advanced stage of readiness

MOSCOW, April 1. /TASS/. Polymetallic holding Seligdar will commission a processing plant at the Khvoynoye gold deposit in Russia’s Yakutia region in July 2025, Seligdar President Alexander Khrushch announced.

"This year marks our 50th anniversary in July. In that very month, we will launch our new asset - the processing plant at the Khvoynoye deposit in Yakutia. Once it reaches full production capacity in 2026, it will contribute an additional 2 metric tons of gold. Thus, in line with our strategy, we will transition to an annual gold output of 10 metric tons," he stated.

Khrushch emphasized that the plant is in an advanced stage of readiness.

Seligdar is one of Russia’s largest companies in terms of gold and tin reserves, with assets in Russia’s Yakutia, the Orenburg region, Altai District, Buryatia, Khabarovsk District, and Chukotka.
