MOSCOW, February 26. /TASS/. The trade turnover between Russia and African nations surged by 10% in 2024, Russian President Vladimir Putin said at the meeting with his counterpart from Guinea Bissau Umaro Sissoco Embalo.
"I would like to note that the goods turnover between Russia and the African continent continued growing last year and gained plus 10%," Putin said.
"There again, trade and economic ties between our country definitely require caring attitude from both sides," the Russian leader said. "And I have great expectations that we will manage to agree upon gaining our momentum. The good groundwork and good opportunities are in place here," Putin noted.
"Many our companies are showing growing interest in working on your market," the Russian President added.
