Domestic procedures are currently underway

ABU DHABI, February 17. /TASS/. The agreement on a free trade zone between EAEU (Eurasian Economic Union) member states and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) may be signed in the middle of 2025, with the approval of the document having been coordinated, Russia’s First Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov said.

"The approval of the agreement has been fully coordinated. Domestic procedures are currently underway, and the signing is possible as early as in the middle of the year," he told reporters on the sidelines of the IDEX 2025 international arms show in Abu Dhabi.

Minister in charge of Trade of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) Andrey Slepnev said earlier that the talks on the agreement on EAEU-UAE free trade zone creation had been finalized.
