Ukraine receives Russian gas from foreign companies via Slovakia — Slovak Foreign Minister

BRATISLAVA, February 12. /TASS/. Ukraine receives Russian natural gas purchased from foreign companies in transit through Slovakia, Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of Slovakia Juraj Blanar said on his Facebook page (banned in Russia, belongs to the Meta corporation, recognized as extremist in Russia).

"Russian gas, which it purchased abroad, flows through Slovak territory to Ukraine," the minister noted.

Earlier, Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico reported that foreign companies supply gas to Ukraine through a pipeline passing through the republic. According to Slovak Minister of Economy Denis Sakov, these are companies from the Czech Republic and Germany.

In turn the SITA commercial information agency clarified that gas supplies to Ukraine have been carried out since February 6 in transit through the Vojany-Uzhgorod pipeline.
