Comfortable communication tariffs to come into force in Russia, Belarus

"New rules will take effect as early as from March 1, 2025," Russian President Vladimir Putin said

MINSK, December 6. /TASS/. Roaming between Russia and Belarus will be canceled from March 1, 2025, President Vladimir Putin said.

"A new decision will be made today - on introduction of comfortable tariffs for use of communication and data transmission services in the Union State territory. New rules will take effect as early as from March 1, 2025," the head of the Russian state said at the meeting of the Supreme State Council of the Union State of Russia and Belarus.

On November 5, the Council of Ministers of the Union State of Russia and Belarus approved the resolution on creation of comfortable tariffs for use of communication and data transmission services in the Union State territory (roaming cancellation in the Union State).
