Russian GDP gained 4.1% in January - October 2024, Putin says

MOSCOW, December 4. /TASS/. The national GDP surged by 4.1% annually in January - October 2024, Russian President Vladimir Putin said at the 15th VTB Russia Calling! Investment Forum.

"The gross domestic product of Russia increased by 3.6% last year. This is well known. It moved up by 4.1% in January-October 2024. Growth is largely concentrated in processing industries, in sectors with the high added value," the president added.

The processing segment gained 8.1% during the same period, the head of state noted. "The automotive industry and the machine-building segment demonstrate outperforming growth rates in particular," he added.
