Kazakhstan sowing interest in expanding transportation — Putin

As the Russian leader noted, good prospects for that are opened in connection with development of the North - South corridor to India

ASTANA, November 27. /TASS/. Issues of cooperation in logistics were raised during Russian-Kazakh talks and Astana shows interest in expanding mutual transportation with Moscow President Vladimir Putin said during the state visit to Kazakhstan.

"The issues of interaction in the transport and logistics sphere were discussed during talks," Putin said. Kazakhstan shows "interest in further expansion of cross-shipments by rail and air transport," the head of state said.

"Good prospects for that are opened in connection with development of the North - South corridor to India, with its eastern section crossing Kazakhstan," Putin added.
