Russian stocks up as Wednesday trading opens

The dollar exchange rate was down by 0.26% at 90.11 rubles, the euro was down by 0.4% at 98.68 rubles

MOSCOW, December 20. /TASS/. Russia’s stock market went up as Wednesday trading opened on Moscow Exchange as the MOEX Index rose by 0.25% to 3,091.35 points, while the dollar-denominated RTS Index also added 0.25% to 1,077.06 points, according to trading data as of 10:00 a.m. Moscow time (07:00 a.m. GMT).

As of 10:20 a.m. (07:20 a.m. GMT), the MOEX was up by 0.29% at 3,092.47 points, while the RTS was up by 0.62% at 1,081.01 points.

Meanwhile, the dollar exchange rate was down by 0.26% at 90.11 rubles on Moscow Exchange, the euro was down by 0.4% at 98.68 rubles, while the yuan was down by 0.4% at 12.614 rubles as of 10:20 a.m. (07:20 a.m. GMT).
