Number of foreign business structures in Russia has expanded rather than reduced — Putin

According to the Russian leader, as of March 1, 2022, 24,100 foreign organizations were registered in Russia

MOSCOW, December 7. /TASS/. The total number of foreign business structures in the Russian Federation increased rather than decreased, Russian President Vladimir Putin said at the VTB Investment Forum "Russia Calling!"

"From the beginning of March 2022 to November of this year, the number of foreign companies in Russia, I want to draw your attention to this, has not decreased despite all of the pressure from Western political figures. Imagine my surprise when I looked at the material and saw that it had increased," Putin stated.

According to him, as of March 1, 2022, 24,100 foreign organizations were registered in Russia. "As of November 1 of this year, there were almost 1,500 more of them, more specifically 25,600. This is an indicator of readiness and desire to work in Russia," Putin noted.
