Russian port company forecasts 4% rise in port dues next year

The increase will not adversely affect the dynamics of ships’ calls to Russian seaports

MOSCOW, November 17. /TASS/. Rosmorport forecasts that the rise in port dues will not be above the inflation level and will stand at 4% in 2024, CEO of the Russian seaports and specialized ports management company Sergey Pylin told reporters.

"We have received an authorization from the Federal Antimonopoly Service for the adjustment of regulated tariffs of port dues. Regulated tariffs will be increased by 4.9% from January 1 [2024]. Non-regulated tariffs and tariffs not subject to the adjustment agreed with the Federal Antimonopoly Service are also in place. Considering what I have said, the average cost of a ship call will grow by 4% next year, even lower than inflation," Pylin said.

This increase will not adversely affect the dynamics of ships’ calls to Russian seaports, he added.
