EMC shareholders to discuss redomiciliation from Cyprus

According to the European Medical Center CEO, an opportunity for redomiciling to the Russian jurisdiction is being considered

MOSCOW, July 31. /TASS/. The Board of Directors of United Medical Group, a holding company of the European Medical Center (EMC), scheduled on August 31 an extraordinary meeting of shareholders on redomiciliation of the company from Cyprus to the special administrative region (SAR) of the Oktyabrsky Island in the Kaliningrad Region, the company said.

"To approve the agenda of the meeting: approval of exclusion of the company from the Cyprus register of companies, redomiciliation of the company to the special administrative region (SAR) of the Oktyabrsky Island of the Kaliningrad Region of the Russian Federation and its registration in it," the company noted.

An opportunity for redomiciling to the Russian jurisdiction is being considered, EMC CEO Andrey Yanovsky said earlier.

EMC is a private provider of medical services operating on the Russian market for more than thirty years.
