BERLIN, March 15. /TASS/. No final decision on divestment of the Volkswagen’s plant in Kaluga has been made so far, a spokesperson of the German automaker told TASS.

"Volkswagen has reviewed various scenarios of doing business in Russia in the future. The preferable option is the sale of Volkswagen Group RUS’ assets, and hence the plant in Kaluga, to a third party," the spokesperson informed. "No final decision has been made yet," he added.

Volkswagen said on Tuesday that it expects to complete the sale of its three subsidiaries in Russia to local investors in the first half of 2023.
