Putin admits danger of consequences of sanctions but expects 'everything will be fine'

It is noted that now there are new tools to support innovative industries

ULAN-UDE, March 14. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin hopes that the country will not experience the consequences of sanctions in the future, although he admitted that such a danger exists.

"Yes, we must admit that these ill-wishers of ours are counting on the fact that in the medium term they will create problems for us. Such a danger really exists, we understand this," the head of state said while meeting with workers at the Ulan-Ude Aviation Plant on Tuesday.

He explained that such a danger exists due to the fact that "long-cycle enterprises require modern equipment, modern developments."

"But I think everything will be fine here, too," Putin stressed.

"Because now we are introducing new tools to support innovative industries," he said adding that such tools in particular include an industrial mortgage and creation of certain rules for industrial clusters.
