Exports of agricultural products from Russia’s Tomsk Region up over 1.5-fold in 2022

The most popular export destinations were China ($40.92 mln), Vietnam ($10.8 mln), Kazakhstan ($12 mln), and Mongolia ($11.3 mln)

TOMSK, January 16. /TASS/. Exports of agricultural products from Russia’s Tomsk Region totaled $81.2 mln in 2022, which is an over 1.5-fold increase compared with 2021, a representative of the regional administration’s press service reported on Monday, adding that China, Vietnam, Kazakhstan and Mongolia were the most popular export destinations.

"In 2022, exports of agricultural products from the Tomsk Region amounted to $81.2 mln. The Tomsk Region exported agricultural products worth $52.7 mln in 2021, and worth $49.8 mln in 2020," the report said.

Among the main products supplied from the region to foreign markets in 2022 were fat-and-oil products (including rapeseed oil), grain crops, dairy and meat products, products of the food and processing industry.
