MOSCOW, March 25. /TASS/. Russian banks see higher interest of clients in subsidized mortgage loans in March 2022, polled credit institutions told TASS.
"VTB experts take note that the share of state programs in mortgage transactions growing in the environment of the record-high key rate level and market rates for housing loans. The overall level of mortgage sales in March is comparable with February results," the VTB’s press service said. "Family mortgage accounted for the greater amount of disbursements under subsidized loans since early March - over 65%: almost 20 bln rubles ($195.6 mln)," the Bank noted.
Press service of Rosbank also confirmed to TASS that the demand for state mortgage programs is surging. "The share of state programs in Rosbank House disbursements reached 16% in February 2022, compared to 15% in January. The share of state programs in Rosbank House disbursements stood at more than 50% in conclusion of the first half of March," the press service said.
RNCB, the largest bank of Crimea, noted stable demand for subsidized mortgage loans in February and in March. "40% of mortgage loans in RNCB were extended within the framework of subsidized programs in the first half of 2022," the Bank’s press service said.
