MOSCOW, December 14. /TASS/. Ukraine’s armed forces have lost 145 troops in 24 hours as a result of actions by units of Russia’s Battlegroup East, Spokesman for the battlegroup Oleg Chekhov told TASS.

"Battlegroup East units continued advancing deep into the enemy’s defense as a result of active operations. They inflicted damage on troops and equipment of units of mechanized brigades, territorial defense brigades and a mountain-assault brigade near Dneproenergiya, Novopol, Velikaya Novoselka and Storozhevoye. Actions by five engineer groups near Gulyaipole, Dorozhnyanki, Mirnoye and Lugovskoye were wrecked. The counterattacks by the enemy’s assault groups were repelled," he said.

The enemy lost 145 troops, an Maxxpro armored combat vehicle and one car, as well as Akatsiya and Gvozdika self-propelled artillery systems, in 24 hours, Chekhov added.
