MOSCOW, December 24. /TASS/. Russia’s battlegroup South downed 10 Ukrainian drones on the Donetsk direction in 24 hours, battlegroup spokesman Vadim Astafyev told TASS

"Air defense systems downed 10 Ukrainian drones near settlements of Gorlovka, Maryinka, and Pobeda of the Donetsk People's Republic," he said.

Battlegroup units also thwarted eleven attacks and engaged manpower and materiel of the Ukrainian army in the vicinity of Krasnoye, Dyleevka, Kirovo and Georgievka, the spokesman noted.

The Ukrainian army lost up to 200 servicemen killed and wounded, four tanks, including one Leopard-2, a Bradley fighting vehicle, and three motor vehicles. Five self-propelled artillery units and two howitzers were destroyed during counterbattery activities.
