KIEV, June 21. /TASS/. The Ukrainian Security Service, together with police, has discovered a batch of illegal arms, grenades and ammunition in the Kirovograd region (central Ukraine), its press service reported on Tuesday.

"Law enforcers have seized a cache with two light anti-tank grenade launchers, two anti-personnel landmines, 36 rounds for an automatic grenade launcher, 16 fuse grenades and a large number of cartridges of various calibers," the press service said.

It added that the weapons had been illegally brought to the city from the Donbass conflict zone. A criminal case has been initiated over the incident under the "illegal handling of weapons, ammunition or explosives" article.

Ukraine’s Security Service and police say weapons caches have been found in Ukraine increasingly more often recently. On June 3, law enforcers found and seized 60 grenades, ammunition and explosives in a garage in Kiev.
