NEW YORK, November 15. /TASS/. US President-elect Donald Trump said he would pick Governor Doug Burgum of North Dakota to lead the Interior Department.

Trump made the announcement during a gala for the America First Policy Institute now under way at his Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida.

The official announcement will be made on Friday, Trump added.
