BERLIN, March 7. /TASS/. The parliamentary faction of Germany’s Christian Democratic Union and Christian Social Union in Bavaria plans to put a resolution on supplies of Taurus missiles to Ukraine to another vote next week.

"Next week, the CDU/CSU faction will put the issue of Taurus supplies up for a roll call vote in the Bundestag. Parliament must take over the reins to act," Thorsten Frei, first parliamentary secretary of the CDU/CSU faction, told the Rheinische Post newspaper.

The resolution, which also calls on the government to train Ukrainian soldiers in using Taurus missiles, could come up for a vote on Thursday, the newspaper said.

Frei said German Chancellor Olaf Scholz "has no arguments left." It is time for parliament members to "show him the way out of the impasse," he said.

On February 22, the Bundestag supported a resolution sponsored by the ruling parties, which called for the transfer of long-range weapons to Ukraine.
