WASHINGTON, January 20. /TASS/. CIA Director William Burns, who traveled to Ukraine last week on an unannounced visit, told Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky that foreign military assistance will be "harder to come by" at some point, The Washington Post reported, citing own sources.

According to the report, Burns informed Zelensky about "his expectations for what Russia is planning militarily in the coming weeks and months."

They discussed how long Ukraine could expect Western military assistance due to Amercians’ declining support for the Kiev government among the US electorate.

Burns "acknowledged that at some point assistance would be harder to come by," the paper wrote, with reference to anonymous sources.
