US will hand over MLRS to Ukraine by end of month — JCS chairman

The US will also give Ukraine ammunition for the systems, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Mark Milley said

WASHINGTON, June 15. /TASS/. The US will hand over its HIMARS to Ukraine by the end of this month, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Mark Milley said on Wednesday following a meeting in Brussels of a contact group that Western countries created to support Ukraine.

The US will also give Ukraine ammunition for the systems, he said. The Ukrainians will have long-range rocket artillery on the battlefield in a few weeks, Milley said.
