Militants shell settlements in four Syrian provinces over last 24 hours

Head of the Russian reconciliation center Sergei Solomatin warned commanders of illegal armed group against planning provocations

MOSCOW, February 27. /TASS/. Militants have shelled several settlements in the Syrian provinces of Hama, Latakia, and Idlib, as well as the city of Aleppo, over the last 24 hours, head of the Russian Center for reconciliation of the conflicting sides Sergei Solomatin said.

"Over the last 24 hours, militants shelled the settlement of Skalbiya in the Hama province; Qinsiba, Wadi Basur and Qalaat Marza in the Latakia province; Umm al-Rjin (three times), Zahabiya, Baragati, Abu Omar and Niha in the Idlib province, as well as the scientific research center in the city of Aleppo," Solomatin said.

He added that Russian servicemen call on commanders of illegal armed groups not to plan provocations.
