Henry McMaster is projected to win in South Carolina, Larry Hogan - in Maryland, Charlie Baker - in Massachusetts, Bill Lee - in Tennessee, Kay Ivey - in Alabama.

According to CNN estimates, Republican candidate Asa Hutchinson is projected to win in Arkansas, Democrat Tom Wolf - in Pennsylvania, Democrat Gina Raimondo - in Rhode Island, Democrat Andrew Cuomo - in New York.

The midterm elections in the US are taking place on November 6. All 435 seats in the House of Representatives and 35 out of the 100 seats in the Senate are up for grabs.
