MOSCOW, April 2. /TASS/. In the course of the special military operation, the number of terrorist acts has increased three-fold in Russia amid Ukrainian drone and shelling attacks, Russian Prosecutor General Igor Krasnov said as he delivered an annual report to the Federation Council.
"Amid the special military operation, the number of terror crimes has increased by more than half, with an almost three-fold rise in the number of terrorist acts. Those were mostly committed by launching drone attacks and artillery strikes," he said.
According to Krasnov, a large-scale operation involving the Federal Security Service (FSB) and the National Guard of Russia has been held to check how well crowded places and other vital facilities are protected nationwide.
