Putin's meeting with human rights council scheduled for December 5 – source

The head of the Russian Presidential Council for the Development of Civil Society and Human Rights, Valery Fadeev, previously said that traditionally this event takes place “plus or minus December 10”

MOSCOW, November 20. /TASS/. A meeting of the Russia’s Presidential Council for the Development of Civil Society and Human Rights (HRC) with the participation of Russian President Vladimir Putin may be held on December 5, a source close to the council told TASS.

"The meeting is scheduled for December 5," the agency's source said.

Earlier, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters that Putin will hold a meeting with the human rights council in December, and the Kremlin will announce the exact date.

The head of the HRC, Valery Fadeyev, told reporters that the meeting will traditionally be held "around December 10," which is Human Rights Day.
