TYUMEN, December 5. /TASS/. A youth conference on text interpretation will take place at the Institute of Social and Humanitarian Sciences of the University of Tyumen on December 19-21, its press service told TASS on Wednesday.
“The event will focus on the problems of humanitarian knowledge verification. Russian and foreign experts will address the conference,” the press service said.
The conference participants will consider issues and cases of the use of different methods in linguistics, literature studies, philosophy, anthropology, history, political science and others, the press service said.
“The logical analysis of propositions, arguments and conclusions, the use of mathematic and computing methods, empirical control and experiments are the main verification methods. Humanities often turn to these methods as they go into the inter-disciplinary space,” the press service said.
The open school of computer linguistics will be held as part of the conference at the University of Tyumen. The school will offer lectures and practical studies in two fields – the creation of electronic language corpora and the bases of architecture of neuron networks and CoLab service.
All participants will receive certificates if their work is successful, the press service said.
