The parties will also touch upon the tourism sector

MOSCOW, April 22. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin and the Sultan of Oman Haitham bin Tariq Al Said plan to discuss promising joint projects between the countries in the pharmaceutical sector, as follows from the documents for the negotiations.

Binnopharm Group is holding talks on partnership with companies in Oman - with a view to creating a joint production of drugs in the sultanate and bringing them to the regional markets. Biocad is working on organizing the supply of cancer drugs to Oman - in December 2024, the Omani Ministry of Health approved the sale of the Russian antitumor drug Fulvestrant in the country, the documents say.

The parties will also touch upon the tourism sector. The tourist flow from Russia to Oman amounted to 18,100 trips at the end of last year. Omani tourists made 9,500 tourist visits to Russia. "This is facilitated by the presence of direct Oman Air flights between Moscow and Muscat (six times a week) and the opening of Omani tourist offices in Moscow and St. Petersburg in November 2024," the documents say.
