Lines on Russian-Estonian border due to Tallinn’s actions — Russian Foreign Ministry

"As a result of redirecting citizens before the holiday period and, above all, due to the artificial provocation by Estonian border guards at the aforementioned checkpoints, hours-long lines began to form," the ministry noted

MOSCOW, December 24. /TASS/. Long lines on the Russian-Estonian border have formed due to Tallinn escalating the situation, the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

"Estonian authorities are advising citizens to use other border checkpoints, Koidula/Kunichina Gora and Luhamaa/Shumilkino, which operate around the clock," the Russian diplomatic agency said.

"As a result of redirecting citizens before the holiday period and, above all, due to the artificial provocation by Estonian border guards at the aforementioned checkpoints, hours-long lines began to form," the Foreign Ministry added.
