According to Vladimir Rogov, Ukrainian forces also attempted to conduct combat reconnaissance northwest of the Verbovoye settlement

MELITOPOL, April 3. /TASS/. The Russian armed forces have eliminated over 50 Ukrainian servicemen during two attempted enemy counterattacks near the Zaporozhye Region’s Rabotino, Vladimir Rogov, chairman of the We Are Together With Russia movement, told TASS.

"Ukrainian forces twice tried to counterattack near Rabotino, all their attempts were foiled, some 40 to 50 fighters were eliminated, and several cars used to transport them were destroyed," he said.

According to the politician, Ukrainian forces also attempted to conduct combat reconnaissance northwest of the Verbovoye settlement.

In the end of February, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that Russian units had managed to entrench themselves in Rabotino. Ukrainian servicemen are still trying to retake the lost positions by redeploying reinforcements from other areas.
