Russia is ending war - the truth that should be conveyed to world, says Kremlin spokesman

According to Dmitry Peskov, Russia has repeatedly indicated that former Ukrainian President Pyotr Poroshenko gave orders to his tanks and guns to shell Donbass

MOSCOW, November 4. /TASS/. Russia did not start the war, it is putting an end to it, and this is a conceptual truth that should be conveyed to the world, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov said at the Znanie (Knowledge) educational marathon on the sidelines of the International RUSSIA EXPO.

According to Peskov, Russia has repeatedly indicated that former Ukrainian President Pyotr Poroshenko "gave orders to his tanks and guns to shell Donbass, as he was using the army against his own population," but they were reluctant to listen to this truth over eight years.

"And now, as our president (Russian President Vladimir Putin - TASS) said, and he has reiterated that: we did not launch the war, we are ending it. It is a crucial conceptual expression and conceptual truth which we all have to convey both in our country, to all our friends, and around the world," Peskov said.
