MOSCOW, March 29. /TASS/. Russian forces destroyed two Ukrainian subversive/reconnaissance groups in the southern Donetsk area, Eastern Battlegroup Spokesman Alexander Gordeyev reported on Wednesday.

"In the southern Donetsk direction, units of the Battlegroup East thwarted two attempts to reconnoiter our troop forward positions by fire and also uncovered and destroyed two enemy reconnaissance groups," the spokesman said.

In addition, the team of an Osa-AKM air defense system from the Pacific Fleet’s Marine Corps shot down a Ukrainian Furia unmanned aerial vehicle, he said.

In the Zaporozhye direction, the teams of Strela-10 and Tor anti-aircraft missile systems wiped out Ukrainian Valkyrie and Furia drones, Gordeyev reported.
