MOSCOW, March 7. /TASS/. Ukrainian troops have been making attempts to flee Artyomovsk, known as Bakhmut in Ukraine, in small groups on dirt roads, Yan Gagin, an advisor to the acting leader of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), reported on Tuesday.

"I do not rule out attempts <...> to break out of the city itself, as small groups [of Ukrainian troops] have been retreating in a chaotic manner," Gagin told Rossiya 24 television.

The Ukrainians have been suffering losses and surrendering while making these attempts, Gagin added. According to him, all paved roads in the area are completely under the fire control of the Russian military.
