Russia, China reject two items on Ukraine of G20 foreign ministers’ final document

These paragraphs mentioned a negative impact of the conflict in Ukraine on the world economy, criticized hostilities, and pointed out the inadmissibility of using or threatening the use of nuclear weapons

NEW DELHI, March 2. /TASS/. The G20 foreign ministers at their meeting in New Delhi agreed on all points of India's Chair's Summary & Outcome Document except for two concerning Ukraine. These items were not supported by the foreign ministers of Russia and China, Sergey Lavrov and Qin Gang.

All G20 foreign ministers agreed with points 1 and 2 and with points 5 to 24, the document says.

Points 3 and 4 of this document, borrowed from the G20 Bali Leaders' Declaration (of November 15-16, 2022), were agreed by all member countries, with the exception of Russia and China, the Chair's Summary and Outcome Document reads.

Paragraphs 3 and 4, not supported by the Russian and Chinese ministers, mentioned a negative impact of the conflict in Ukraine on the world economy, criticized hostilities, and also pointed out the inadmissibility of using or threatening the use of nuclear weapons.
