NEW DELHI, February 28. /TASS/. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has arrived on a three-day working visit in India, a TASS correspondent reported on Tuesday.
The Russian top diplomat is expected to meet with his Indian counterpart, Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, take part in a meeting of the Group of Twenty foreign ministers, and hold a number of bilateral meetings with partners from China, Brazil and other countries.
At the Indian-chaired ministerial meeting, the Russian side is supposed to draw attention of the G20 top diplomats to the problems of energy and food security and to the destructiveness of illegitimate sanctions.
Despite the busy program, Lavrov will also take part in the Raisina Dialogue international conference to be held in New Delhi from March 2 to 4.
