It was reported earlier that four Russian banks, including Alfa-Bank, could be hit by EU sanctions as part of a new package of sanctions

NEW YORK, February 13. /TASS/. Some member-states of the European Union are against the European Commission’s proposal to slap a greater number of Russian banks with sanctions, the Bloomberg news agency reported on Monday, citing a source.

The agency did not specify the banks in question or which states did not want to support the move.

The Politico news outlet reported earlier that four Russian banks, including Alfa-Bank, could be hit by EU sanctions as part of a new package of sanctions.
