Not so many countries could do sabotage acts for Nord Stream — Kremlin

"Statements were also made on our part about all data evidencing the involvement of Anglo-Saxons in organizing this sabotage act. You can see certain intersection in this regard," Dmitry Peskov noted

MOSCOW, February 9. /TASS/. The number of countries capable of making such explosions as the ones occurred at Nord Stream gas pipelines is not large, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters on Thursday, commenting on the report by US journalist Seymour Hersh that the United States is behind the explosions at the Nord Stream pipelines.

"Statements were also made on our part about all data evidencing the involvement of Anglo-Saxons in organizing this sabotage act. You can see certain intersection in this regard," Peskov noted. "Not so many countries are present globally that can commit such acts of sabotage," he added.

According to the news report released on Wednesday, the US Navy divers put explosive devices under Russian gas pipelines in June 2022 under cover of the Baltops exercise.
