Putin reviews updated Russia’s Concept of Foreign Policy, says Lavrov

The foreign minister hoped that after the approval of the updated concept, it would be possible to consider separately the issues that may attract "additional attention" of the relevant commission

MOSCOW, February 3. /TASS/. A new version of Russia’s Concept of Foreign Policy has recently been submitted to President Vladimir Putin for review, the country's Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said.

"President Putin now reviews an updated Russia’s Concept of Foreign Policy. All new issues and related tasks have been taken into account," the top diplomat told a meeting of the United Russia Party commission on international cooperation and support of compatriots abroad.

Lavrov hoped that after the approval of the updated concept, it would be possible to consider separately the issues that may attract "additional attention" of the relevant commission.
