Antonov urges US not to ‘rattle nuclear weapons’ as there are no winners in such conflict

According to Anatoly Antonov, "we need to remember every day that there should be no nuclear war"

MOSCOW, October 20. /TASS/. US should stop ‘rattling nuclear weapons’ as victory in such a conflict is impossible, Russian envoy to Washington Anatoly Antonov said.

"It's time for Washington to give up its ill-considered and irresponsible nuclear rhetoric. You can't wave a nuclear cudgel and rattle nuclear weapons," he wrote in an article published on Thursday the Rossiyskaya Gazeta.

According to Antonov, "We need to remember every day that there should be no nuclear war." "There will be no victory in a nuclear conflict," the diplomat stressed.
