Lavrov says Russia can’t be kicked out of UNSC as proposed by Kiev

According to Sergey Lavrov, attempts continue to exacerbate the situation at the UN and use it in a Russophobic way

MOSCOW, October 11. /TASS/. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov on Tuesday said Russia can’t be kicked out of the UN Security Council as was earlier proposed by Ukraine.

"The decision (that Russia is a UNSC member - TASS), is absolutely impossible to change retroactively based on the wishes of the Kiev regime," he said on the "60 Minutes" program on Rossiya-1 television.

According to Lavrov, attempts continue to exacerbate the situation at the UN and use it in a Russophobic way.

"They go beyond all the decency that used to exist in diplomacy during the Cold War," the minister said.
