As Maria Zakharova said, those who engineered these provocations in the region around Ukraine failed to calculate all consequences

MOSCOW, October 7. /TASS/. The US engineers of provocations in Ukraine failed to calculate all consequence of their sabotage activities in the region and have brought the world to a dangerous situation, while Russia did everything it could to stabilize the situation, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman said on Russian TV Friday.

According to the diplomat the US have long been working on provocations in the region "for a long time and with focus," bringing the world closer to a "dangerous line," while Russia tenaciously did everything it could to bring the situation back on the diplomatic and peaceful track.

"[We] have engaged the entire potential of international organizations, diplomatic efforts, and international law. No one will ever be able to accuse us of failing to do something. Everything has been done for many years," Zakharova underscored.

The spokeswoman noted that Moscow’s efforts were accompanied by a "very active explanation of the consequences that the American provocative, sabotage activity can lead to."

"Those who engineered these provocations in the region around Ukraine failed to calculate all consequences," the diplomat concluded.
