Ukraine’s military planting remote-controlled explosives in Artyomovsk, LPR militia says

"Information is coming that massive work is ongoing in the settlement of Artyomovsk to plant mines in administrative buildings and critical civilian infrastructure facilities, using, in particular, improvised explosives," Andrey Marochko said

MOSCOW, July 15. /TASS/. The Ukrainian military is massively planting improvised remote-controlled explosives in the settlement of Artyomovsk to blow up buildings upon its retreat, people’s militia officer of the Lugansk People’s Republic (LPR) Andrey Marochko said in a live broadcast on Russia’s TV Channel One on Friday.

"Information is coming that massive work is ongoing in the settlement of Artyomovsk to plant mines in administrative buildings and critical civilian infrastructure facilities, using, in particular, improvised explosives. In case that the enemy retreats from that community, it will be able to keep blowing up administrative buildings for quite a long time," the officer said.

The LPR people’s militia officer demonstrated a button mobile phone with a SIM card slot separately attached to the wire and used as a remote-controlled detonator. Such phones can keep the charge for a long time and stay online, he said.
