Moscow’s ambassador to Warsaw assures Poles that Russia poses no danger to Poland

The Russian ambassador explained at the news conference what the main reasons, goals, and the legal basis are for the Russian special military operation in Ukraine

WARSAW, June 1. /TASS/. Russia has no reason to threaten Poland, Russian Ambassador to Poland Sergey Andreyev said at a news conference on Wednesday, when asked by Polish reporters whether the country can feel safe.

"Poland has nothing to fear. Russia is not going to attack Poland," he said. "I have said this many times, but I’m asked this question again and again."

"There is no doubt that Russia has no reason to threaten Poland's security," he went on to say.

The Russian ambassador explained at the news conference what the main reasons, goals, and the legal basis are for the Russian special military operation in Ukraine. Andreyev said the West is using Ukraine as a tool to confront Russia.
