LUGANSK, May 30. /TASS/. Twenty-four civilians, including eight children, were wounded in the city of Stakhanov in the Lugansk People’s Republic (LPR) as a result of shelling by Ukrainian troops, the LPR prosecutor general’s office said on Monday.

"Twenty-four people, including eight children, received wounds," it wrote on its Telegram channel.

According to the prosecutor general’s office, a criminal case will be initiated on charges of the use of prohibited warfare methods and of genocide.

Earlier in the day, the LPR reported that two pregnant women were killed in Stakhanov, which came under shelling from Uragan multiple rocket launcher systems.
